Description
Love the black, red, and white palette of this huge Malian wedding hanging cloth, dating from circa 1970s. Although some of the weft float motifs are reminiscent of Dioula weaving in Burkina Faso this was probably woven by a Fulani weaver in Mali. Condition is excellent.
Measurements 10′ x 6’3″, 305 cm x 190.
