Bold turquoise background distinguishes this dramatic 1970s Yoruba asooke woman’s cloth. Neatly woven white extra weft float patterning alternates with strips of the characteristic Yoruba openwork. There is a small worn area (see detail photo), otherwise condition is good.
Measurements: 6’9″ x 4’5″, 206 cm x 134.
