Description
Asante kente cotton strip weave men’s cloth in the classic pattern called Akyempem, “a thousand shields.” Each of the small woven rectangles represented one of the rectangular basketry shields carried by the Asante army. In very good, neat and strong condition, suitable for a bed cover, headboard or others interiors usage.
Measurements 9’5″ x 6, 287 cm x 183.
