More recent than most of the cloths I post but I think rather appealing, this mixed strip Ewe kente woman’s cloth probably dates from around the 1980s. It highlights the distinctive Ewe preference for weaving with braided two colour threads making pleasing speckled effects on the striped cloths. In excellent condition.
Measurements 6’8″ x 4′, 202 cm x 123.
