Description
Flashes of bright colours stand out against the red on green ground of this Ewe kente woman’s cloth. Red warps float down front face of the strips but are largely hidden on the back, giving a pleasing two colour effect to the finished cloth. In excellent complete condition. Dates from circa 1950s.
Measurements 6’8″ x 4’4″, 202 cm x 132.
