Description
Dramatic 1960s Yoruba starch resist adire eleko cloth with a pattern that was called “records” or “spinning top”. Here it was executed on a striped brocade cloth ground giving another layer of design. Starch was applied by hand using a comb like section of card making each circle different. In excellent complete condition.
Measurements 6’7″ x 6′, 199 cm x 183.
