Description
Subtle and distinctive early C20th Ewe kente woman’s cloth with pale orange float motifs and pink blocks on a very pale yellow ground. I can’t recall seeing another Ewe kente in these colours. The cloth is complete but has a few tiny dark spots and some small spots (see detail) where the white ground shows under the yellow dye.
Measurements 5’9″ x 4′, 174 cm x 121.
