Description
Dense bands of weft float decoration cross the red and black striped ground of this classic style two panel mill spun cotton cloth woven by a Nupe lady on the upright loom in the region around Bida in central Nigeria. Dates from circa 1960s and is in excellent condition.
Measures 89 inches x 58, 227 cms x 147.
