Fulani wedding hanging from Mali, circa 1980s. I like the vaguely architectural shape of the pink and black weft float patterning between rows of stripes in the colours of the Malian flag. See my next post for a photo of similar cloths in use at a wedding. In excellent condition.
Measurements 6’10” x 5’4″, 209 cm x 163.
