Indigo dyed handspun cotton woman’s wrap skirt cloth from Jenne in Mali, late C20th. Charming naïve hand embroidery in brightly coloured knitting wool. The cloth has a tighter weave and better quality than the currently ubiquitous Dogon pieces. In excellent condition.
Measurements 5′ x 4′, 152 cm x 122.
