Fine rich blue colour on this indigo dyed hand spun cotton women’s cloth from the Bondoukou region of north eastern Ivory Coast, circa 1920-40. Worn by a woman among the Abron or perhaps Koulango ethnic group. Narrow white weft stripes are aligned across the cloth In excellent complete condition
Measurements 5’10” x 3’10”, 179 cm x 116.
