This lovely 1960s Hausa “luru” cloth is on the cusp between the subtle faded indigo of rare early pieces and the often harsh and garish colours of late 60s and later examples. An elegant balanced design with red, orange and blue weft inserts carefully positioned around a central axis. Soft thick texture. In excellent complete condition.
