Description
Unusual mid century Ewe kente woman’s cloth with a alternation of larger and smaller grid effects achieved by careful weaving using a supplementary warp in stripes of yellow and white between green and red warp stripes. Dates from circa 1950s and is in excellent complete condition.
Measurements 6’8″ x 4’4″, 207 cm x 132.
