Description
Pleasing mid century modern sensibility to this fine prestige cloth from northern Ivory Coast. Most likely woven by a Dioula weaver for a Senufo patron this cloth shows a strong influence from centuries of trade in blankets and cloths from Mali throughout the region. In excellent complete condition and dates from circa 1950s.
Measurements 7’9″ x 4’*”, 237 cm x 132.
