Description
Paired pattern blocks in quite beautiful pale colours are arranged to form diagonal lines across this blue and white striped cotton Ewe kente woman’s cloth. There are a number of small dark stains scattered on this piece, perhaps from decades of storage in a metal chest, otherwise the cloth is in complete and strong condition. Dates from circa 1930s.
