Description
A stylised but instantly recognisable turkey against the blue and white “guineafowl” check background of this well woven Ewe kente chief’s cloth. Other float motifs include a human figure, a hand, a very nice snake, and a pair of chickens. Dates from circa 1930s and is in excellent complete condition. This is a strong neat cloth suitable for interiors uses as well as collectible.
Measurements 9’8″ x 5’10”, 294 cm x 178.
