Description
Man’s open sided tabard like tunic from the Bamana people of Mali, neatly tailored from a fine strip weave bogolanfini mud cloth. The pattern is hand drawn using the traditional bogolan method not a recent tourist market short cut version. Dates from late C20th and is in excellent condition.
Measurements: 4’2″ width x 3’1″, 127 cm x 94
